Samson Jatto

Musician Samson Jatto’s instinctive ability to know what’s right for a song has made him the first point of call for many record labels, managers and music producers.

His experience spans over two decades having been introduced to the drums in 2001. Samson spent the first decade refining his craft and building a name for himself within the entertainment world. During this time he worked and built relationships with artists, bands and theatres from a spectrum of genres and styles.

By 2010 Samson was touring with Maverick Sabre, this lead to prime time radio and television performances (Jools Holland, Comic relief, BBC 1Xtra, Maida Vale Sessions), major festivals and world tours. The following year, Samson and long time collaborator Joe Newman developed a solo project titled ‘Parallel’; their online presence and performances lead to touring with Jessie Ware for her first 2 albums.

Other high profile artists include: Kwabs, Rebecca Ferguson, Will Young and James Arthur. Every tour and recording session has allowed Samson to keep developing and refining his skill set.

Nowadays Samson Jatto is listed alongside many of the UK’s top drummers. He is currently playing for Mahalia and Grammy nominated NAO, when Samson is not on tour he is programming and recording drums from his studio.
